Kristoff St. John Passes Away At 52-Years-Old

According to a report from NBC News, Kristoff St. John, 52, an Emmy award-winning actor who starred in the infamous soap opera, The Young and The Restless, was found deceased at his LA home this past Superbowl weekend.

When speaking with NBC News, his lawyer, Mark Geragos, said to reporters that the news was true. His attorney praised the actor in his statement, describing Kristoff as a man of great courage and will.

NBC reported that the authorities went to the star’s home in the Woodland Hills in the afternoon on Sunday and found him there dead from what appeared to be alcohol intoxication. The paramedics, unfortunately, couldn’t revive the actor and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The police refused to open a criminal investigation and have since passed it on to the LA County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office. Scheduled for Monday, the autopsy will look into the actor’s toxicology levels to determine the cause of death.

At the time of his death, St. John was engaged to the model, Kseniya Olegovna Mikhaleva, and he announced the news on Instagram back in September using the ring he purchased for her as a prop. On Monday, she expressed her grief for the soap opera star.

In 1991, St. John appeared for the first time on the set of Young and The Restless as the character, Neil Winters. He won an Emmy Award for the Best Supporting Actor category in 2008.

Kristoff was nominated again for the awards in 2015, 2007, 2000,1999, and 1993 – claims his CBS biography. In response to the news of his death, a litany of fans responded on his social media, expressing their grief and condolences for the longtime daytime star.
