Dr. Phil McGraw Eats His Mind-Boggling Comments After Major Backlash As Some Call On Oprah Winfrey T

Dr. Phil is in the house, and therefore it is not necessary to listen to Dr. Fauci on the coronavirus pandemic, according to the people at Fox News.

Dr. Anthony Fauci is a very qualified man who is the lead member of the Trump Administration’s White House Coronavirus Task Force.

Fauci, who is also the Director of NIAID (National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases) and has taken part in research to prevent, diagnose, and treat diseases such as HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria, Ebola, and Zika, has made it clear that the U.S. is not ready to reopen the economy by May 1, even if Trump says otherwise.

However, Fox opted to have TV host, Dr. Phil McGraw, on a program, and he made a long list of outrageous comments where he compared the coronavirus deaths to drowning and auto accidents.

Dr. Phil appeared on The Ingraham Angle, where he went against Fauci and said that it is time to end the lockdown because it has been hurting people.

He said: “The fact of the matter is, the longer this lockdown goes on, the more vulnerable people get. And it’s like there’s a tipping point. There’s a point at which people start having enough problems in lockdown that it will create more destruction and more deaths across time than the actual virus will itself.”

The TV personality went on to explain: “The poverty line is getting such that more and more people are going to fall below that because the economy is crashing around us, and they’re doing that because people are dying from the coronavirus. I get that.”

He continued: “The fact of the matter is we have people dying, 45,000 people a year die from automobile accidents, 480,000 from cigarettes, 360,000 a year from swimming pools, but we don’t shut the country down for that, but yet we’re doing it for this? And the fallout is going to last for years because people’s lives are being destroyed.”
Dr. Phil was bashed, and he was reminded that drowning and car accidents are not contagious like the coronavirus.

Dr. Phil was forced to apologize during a Facebook Live video where he said: “What I believe, regardless of what I may have come across as saying, is we need widespread testing and continued protection of the high-risk portion of the population. Last night, I said we as a society have chosen to live with certain controllable deadly risk every day, smoking, auto crashes, swimming, and yes, I know that those are not contagious, so probably bad examples.”

He added: “If you didn’t like my choice of words, I apologize for that. Know this, and I’m concerned about you, that’s my number one concern here.”
