Daniel MacPherson debuts new romance with House Rules star Jessica Dover

Aussie actor Daniel MacPherson is reportedly dating again, three years after splitting from former Home and Away actress Zoe Ventoura.

According to the Herald Sun, MacPherson is now dating House Rules alum and primary school teacher Jessica Dover. Although the pair have yet to confirm their romance, they seemingly made their couple debut at the races recently.

MacPherson split from Ventoura in 2020 after five years of marriage and one child together, son Austin, 3.

Just one year ago, the Neighbours alum told the publication he was ready to date again, but he was “slowly” easing into the market.

“I’m dipping my toe in and taking it very slowly,” he said. “I’m just loving fatherhood. Zoe and I are co-parenting and we’re really good, she’s a fantastic mother.”

It was in December 2020 that the couple announce they had mutually decided to split.

“With the greatest respect for each other, Zoë and I have separated,” they wrote in near identical statements on Instagram.

“Together, we will continue wholeheartedly to raise our beautiful boy Austin. He is, and will forever be, our greatest priority.

As for Dover, her most recent relationship was with Adelaide Crows footballer Jared Petrenko, who appeared alongside her on the reno show back in 2018. The exes split in 2021, less than one year after welcoming their son, Sebastian.

“You, my Sebby have given me more strength and resilience than I ever knew I had,” she wrote in Instagram on her first Mother’s Day. “Today isn’t how I imagined my first Mother’s Day to be but I know as long as I have you, everything will be okay. Just you and me.”
